Links between AA and Al-Anon

The Alcoholics Anonymous movement and Al-Anon Family Groups maintain close ties. They are naturally drawn to each other because of their close relationship. However, the Twelve Traditions, Councils, and General Service Conferences of each organization suggest that each will function best if it remains "independent," collaborating with the other without becoming affiliated.
